Yonger & Bresson is a Franco-Swiss watch brand that has combined affordable luxury with aesthetic appeal since 1975. The watches are designed in France and assembled in the Jura region – the traditional center of watchmaking. The designs originate from the atelier of Franck Muller, under the direction of designer Gabriele Guidi, and blend creative elegance with technical sophistication.

Founded in 1975 by the Louzon brothers in the Marais district of Paris, the brand name was chosen as a reference to youth ("Yonger") and creativity (after the photographer Cartier-Bresson). Originally, the brand offered affordable watches with imported movements. Since its acquisition in 1990 by Montres Ambre SA in Morteau (Jura, France), the brand has increasingly focused on in-house manufactured, high-quality watches – including its first in-house movement, developed and produced locally.

  • 1975– Founded in Paris by the Louzon brothers, inspired by the creative Marais district.
  • 1990– Acquisition by Montres Ambre; start of production in Morteau with a focus on quality and precision.
  • 2011– Introduction of the first technical Maison movement – ​​developed entirely in France – a sign of ambitious realignment.
