Locman combines Italian creativity with a spirit of technical innovation – founded in 1986 on the picturesque island of Elba, where all designs and production still take place today. The brand relies on cutting-edge technical materials such as titanium, carbon fiber, and aluminum, combined with meticulous craftsmanship – the result: watches that are both sophisticated and lightweight. With distinctive collections like Sport, Montecristo, and Island, Locman appeals to style-conscious wearers who appreciate unmistakable Italian elegance.

It all began when Marco Mantovani, together with Fulvio Locci, first designed watch straps and soon gained recognition in Basel – the first steps towards their own label had been taken. The first Locman watch was released in 1988, handcrafted with precious materials such as gold and wood from the Tuscan maquis. In 1990, Carlo Crocco (founder of Hublot) became a partner and global distributor – a major leap forward. The breakthrough came in the early 2000s with the iconic Sport collection in aluminum – light, colorful, dynamic – worn by stars like Jennifer Lopez and Elton John. In 2003, they followed up with the innovation of the world's first carbon-cased watch. In 2006, Locman opened the SIO (Scuola Italiana di Orologeria) to train new watchmakers, in 2010 came the iconic Montecristo collection, in 2016 the expansion into eyewear, in 2017 the partnership with Ducati, and in 2022 the brand crowned its range with the manual OISA 1937 caliber – all milestones on the way to modern, technically aesthetic watchmaking.
